The Journal of a Working Masters Student

Dear Diary,
I meant to start this journey with you way back in October 2011. I guess i will just have to bring you up to speed on what has been happening. Part of the reason i could not start this journey as planned is the very same reason i am writing about; it has been a roller coaster of work and travel since October.

Dear Diary, i would like to start a relationship with you; a very intimate relationship. I would like you to be my confidant. This means that i can talk to you at any time and any where. That sometimes, actually most times, all you have to do is just listen to me rant, complain, compliment, appreciate and do all the things i intend to do.

Well, i would like to journal my journey as a working Masters student. I want to come back and read it later and be able to identify with it, laugh at the times, reminiscence on the success and definitely failures and the hard times faced .

  Pauline Nenunge Please tell us your name and where you come from. My name is Pauline Chemtai Nenunge. I was born in Kipsigon, Kopsiro. I grew up in Terem, Kapkateny Ward but we later relocated to Machewa in Trans Nzoia County. What has been your academic journey? Please walk us through it. This has, indeed, been a journey. I started my nursery school at Terem Primary School, then, I was moved to Kapkirwok Academy while in Class 1. In search for better education, my Dad, again, moved me to Chemelil Factory Primary School where I stayed with a relative. I tried my luck at Lugulu Boarding Primary School but I was not taken. A Controversial Letter to God

Dear God, Today, I have decided to write a letter to you. I feel it is the best way I can express myself since You gave me this gift of writing. I want to talk to you openly about this issue I am about to write. I want to pour out my heart, my hurt and my disappointment. I have grown up in a Christian home. I have grown up in church. Church is where I found belonging and community. From an early age, my parents taught me about salvation, prayer, fasting, giving, fellowship, service to God and the whole nine yards concerning Christianity.
